Meet Deanna

For the past decade, Deanna Hurn has built a reputation as a leading voice in brain-based learning for K-12 Education. Her revolutionary work has been lauded throughout the nation and landed her on the list of Top 100 Visionaries in Education by the Global Forum for Education & Learning and as a Top Ranking Organization by Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District School Board.

 

As the founder of Miracle-Math Coaching Brain Based Learning Center, Hurn and her Academic Coaches combine neuroscience, psychology, mathematics, statistics and cognitive science to equip students with their unique code for learning. Her program is designed to first identify students cognitive abilities in order to “teach how they think.” 

 

Her proprietary program, The GPA Makeover, helps students close their foundational gaps, become “interested learners,” and learn how to become “self-directed,” all while raising their GPA one percentage point. 

 

Hurn holds teaching credentials from the State of California, an Associate’s of Science degree in Mathematics from Sacramento City College and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Actuarial Statistics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
